About Our Vehicle Recovery & Winch-Out Service
Recovery is the other half of our name. When a car slides into a ditch, sinks into sand at the beach, drops a wheel off a soft shoulder, or ends up high-centered on a curb or median, a regular tow won't do. Our operators look at how the vehicle is sitting first, then rig and winch it out in a controlled way, choosing attachment points and angles that avoid bending suspension parts or tearing bumpers. Once it's back on the pavement we check whether it's safe to drive. If it isn't, we load it and take it wherever you want. We handle recoveries across Orange County, the Long Beach area, and Los Angeles, day or night.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a winch-out?
A winch-out is when we use the tow truck's winch and cable to pull a stuck vehicle back to solid ground, for example out of a ditch, mud, or sand. It's usually quicker and cheaper than a full tow when the car can still be driven afterward.
Will a winch-out damage my car?
Our operators attach to proper recovery points and pull at a controlled angle to avoid damage. A car that's already damaged or sitting at an extreme angle carries some risk, and we'll tell you what we see before we start.
Does AAA cover winch-outs?
Many AAA plans cover winching or extrication when the vehicle is close to a road a tow truck can safely reach. Coverage depends on your membership level, so check your plan or ask us when you call.
Can you recover a car that went down an embankment?
Often, yes. Tell us exactly where the car is, how far it is from the road, and whether anyone is hurt. If someone is injured or the car is in a dangerous spot, call 911 first.
